The Charminar Hyderabad is a mosque and monument located in Hyderabad, constructed in the year 1591. It is a symbol of Hyderabad and is officially incorporated in the emblem of Telangana.
The Charminar’s long history includes the existence of a mosque on its top floor for more than 425 years.
Charminar is a site of various festival celebrations such as Eid-ul-adha and Eid al-Fitr as it is adjacent to the city’s main mosque, the Makkah Masjid.
Charminar is built in Indo-Islamic style of Architecture. Granite, limestone, mortar and pulverized marble were used to build Charminar.

The Timings to visit Charminar are as follows:
On Fridays – 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM & 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
Rest of the week – 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
What is the Entry fee for Charminar Hyderabad?
Entry Fee: Rs 20 per person and Rs 250 per person for foreign tourists.
