Located just beside the New Mangalore Sea Port, Panambur Beach ranks as one of the top places to visit while here at Mangalore. The serene waves lashing across the shore made me crave for snacks to digest the beauty, the dusk at the beach had to offer. By the beachside, I had: 1. Kaccha Aam – also known as raw mango marinated with salt, chaat Masala, and chilli powder; this snack leaves you craving for more as you keep munching on the freshly cut raw mango pieces. 2. Charmburi – also known as puffed rice mixed with ingenious spices, grated carrots, raw mango etc. this is definitely a travel snack found commonly by the beachside and other road side dhabas.
