Green Tea – A foodies boon!

Green tea is one of the many important secrets to loosing body fat and especially that stubborn lower belly fat. I am saying this from my own experience. Within a month of drinking green tea, I was able to notice the changes in my body. Besides the high metabolic benefits that green tea provides, it also helps in relaxing your mind  and relieving stress.

How does it work?
Green tea contains caffeine, polyphenols and antioxidants which are known to increase the metabolic
rate of our body and helps fight aging.  Having a high metabolic rate helps you in burning more fat in you exercises, cardio, gym or sports.

If you are a person who does not have the time for physical activities, don’t worry. Green tea will still help you melt off that unwanted potbelly and ultimately result you in loosing your excess weight.
There is a widespread belief, that green tea flushes out the toxins from our body which results in clearer and glowing skin. It is also known to help relieve gastritis and aids in digestion.
Green tea is most effective when used with lemon. Lemon which is high in vitamin c content, is known to be very good for melting off that undesired belly fat. For best results, drink green tea with lemon but without sugar.

The secret is you must burn more calories than you consume. Avoiding sugar helps in that goal. However, don’t ignore it completely. Sugar is required by our body. Consuming fruits and vegetables helps in consuming healthy sugars. I usually get asked how do i stay so lean despite me eating to my heart’s desire. Well, i will always tell you, the secret is green tea. However, too much of anything is not good. In the same way, do not overdo on this secret ingredient to staying lean.
It is better to have green tea after every heavy meal. It is also better if you have it after having food with high calories. The best time to have green tea is early in the mornings on an empty stomach. Add a lemon to increase the morning benefits of Green tea.
Fruits like oranges, sweet lime all are very good for burning fat. However, this article is about green tea, so I will limit myself here to just that.
