Island Activities Kayaking Bahrain is located at the open beach near the Bahrain Bay Beach. While heading to BFH, take the right and immediate left leading to the sandy road. Ensure to go on lower side and not drive on top of the dune or else you can land on the heavy sink sand. P.S. You can learn from my mistake.
What is Kayaking (Bahrain)?
Kayaking is a fun water sport where you sit on a kayak, similar to a small boat, and propel yourself across the water with a double sided paddle. Kayaking can be de done by one person or two at this location.
As you reach the beach, there is a trailer here with beach umbrella and chairs. This is the place. The instructors puts on a seat belt for you and makes you sit on the paddle boat.
We choose the double paddle boat. You can also choose single or other boat options. Remember to be very careful. Wear your vest properly and ask the vendor for any questions you may have. Safety comes first.
Our experience and learning with Kayaking Bahrain
Kayaking from the beach to the Bahrain Bay was a fun filled experience – the bright blue waters and the luscious greenery were the cherry on top. I have refrained from adding the pictures of the scenic view here so that it will be a surprising and exciting experience when you go.
While paddling, here is what I learnt on double paddle boat.
- The front is for directions and the back seater is for motor or power to move fast.
- If you want to move to the left, row right. If you want to move right, row left, if you want to maintain speed, row equally on left and right lightly. Depending on your strength of the row , the impact on bot movement will be higher.
- You can row and go into the sea and then move to Bahrain Bay creek near the four seasons hotel and come back to the beach.
The package we choose was for 1 hour.
