Machan Lanka – Volcano Restaurant Bahrain Adliya

Machan Lanka Volcano Restaurant Bahrain is located in Adliya. They offer authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. They also have every Friday buffets with a different set menu.

The overall interiors were good with a rustic modern ambiance. The vibe here was also nice and we did see a mix of families and singles on Friday.

The staff are polite and courteous. We loved the live musicians playing a mix of songs in all languages.

The upper floor has a billiard pool table and foosball and a lot of space.

Their buffet is priced at 3++.

The day I came for the buffet – I loved everything in the set menu. They had kingfish curry, chicken fry, daal, jackfruit curry, a good mix of vegetables sides and also salad. The sambal was also good.

The lion beer was smooth

Since they did not have their bartender , the options from cocktails were minimal. However I tried the Machan Lanka cocktail which was a vodka cinnamon based cocktail. Nice and sweet, however, I’ll avoid it next time.
